Common questions

Before you book.

Is the call really free, or is there a catch?
No catch. We don't add you to a list, send drip emails, or invite you to a webinar afterwards. If we're not the right firm, you'll hear that on the call, with a referral, and never hear from us again unless you reach out.
Will I speak to a partner, or a sales rep?
A partner. We don't employ sales reps. The partner you meet on the call is the same partner who would sign your proposal and lead your engagement.
Do I need to prepare anything?
No deck, no documents. Three or four sentences about what you're trying to solve is plenty. The call is more useful when it's a real conversation than when you've rehearsed.
Is there an NDA before the call?
Not by default. If you need one (e.g. capital raise, M&A, board-confidential matter), email info@valerongroup.com.au and we'll have a mutual NDA in your inbox before the slot.
What if I'm not based in Melbourne?
We work across Australia. Most engagements run hybrid: a partner on-site periodically, the rest of the work delivered remotely. We charge no travel premium for clients within 200km of Melbourne. Beyond that, the cost is itemised in the proposal.
